BlueGrind

BlueGrind is a free Web 2.0 tool that allows for textcasting, the conversion of text to .mp3 for distribution. It allows for both the automatic conversion of the text on a blog to .mp3 (with each posting having its own separate .mp3 file) as well as the ability to upload a text file and then have it automatically converted to audio and be downloadable as a .mp3.

Here’s a sample audio file (.mp3) that BlueGrind.com created from text. The voice that you hear is that of a computer, not that of the author of the text. This audio file is posted here.
